Как же хорошо, что в Порту есть много местных особенностей, которых нигде больше не найти. Так что же прихватить с собой домой из Порту?
Зеленое вино
Может показаться, что зеленое вино это молодое вино или вино из недозрелого винограда. На самом деле, это вино из региона D.O.C. Vinhos Verdes («Виньош Вердеш»). Это самая большая и самая северная винная область Португалии. Из-за более прохладного климата, винограду требуется больше времени для созревания, при этом содержание сахара в ягодках не такое высокое. Поэтому вино получается легким, приятным и очень вкусным. Почти во всей Португалии в винной карте в ресторанах вина этого региона будут выделять в отдельную категорию, на самом же деле, нет отдельного цвета вина «зеленое», и оно относится к белым винам (реже, к розовым и красным). Купить его можно в любом супермаркете, оно недорогое, бутылка около 5 евро.
Форму для выпечки нат
Есть в Португалии еще один специалитет — заварные пирожные Паштел-де-ната (Pastel de nata). Это настоящее удовольствие, и хоть сейчас они прокатываются по миру огромной волной своей популярности, форма для выпечки этого вкусного и простого десерта, привезенной из Португалии, можно порадовать любителя готовить и печь. Так же есть открытки с рецептом, такую можно приложить к форме и тогда готовка выпечки станет еще увлекательнее.
Сушеную треску bacalhau
Бакальяу — эту сушеная и очень соленая треска, подлежащая длительному хранению. Дело в том, что португальцы очень любят треску, но она у них не водится. Им приходилось ходить на промысел аж к Норвегии и Исландии. У них даже есть свой Орден Трески, который следит за сохранением всех традиций, связанных с ловлей, заготовкой, транспортировкой и приготовлением этой рыбки. В принципе, бакальяу — тоже самое, что и норвежский клипфиск. Даже добывается там же. Но в Португалии у этой рыбы культ, ее даже подают на Рождество в качестве основного блюда. А еще лично мне она показалась вкуснее свежей или мороженой трески, так как более упругая и волокнистая. Продается тоже в любом магазине, причем в виде целой рыбы, половинок, стейков и кусочков. Можно подобрать любимую часть, увезти домой и через какое-то время приготовить блюдо португальской кухни.
Печенье в трамвайной коробке
Трамваи в Порту появились раньше, чем в Лиссабоне. По стилю они очень похожи и являются настоящим символом города. Часто символ трамвая используют в оформлении красивых коробочек. Я очень люблю печенье и конфеты в жестяных коробках, и вот в Порту продают такое печенье в коробке в виде трамвая. Это очень классный сувенир, так как его можно и съесть и поставить на полочку с каким-то полезным содержимым.
Полумягкий сыр
В Португалии в каждом регионе, просто зайдя в супермаркет, глаза разбегаются в отделе сыров. Но всегда особняком стоит витрина с полумягкими сырами, которые упаковывают в хлопчатобумажную тряпочку, так как им надо дышать. Держаться они всегда вместе, так как им необходим строгий температурный режим. Покупать такой сыр домой лучше прям перед отъездом в аэропорт. Сыр очень вкусный и вонючий. Берите любой, каждый будет как произведение сырного искусства. Например, Queijo de Serra da Estrela (Кейжу де Серра-да-Эштрела). Я же постараюсь написать отдельный гид по португальским сырам, так как они этого достойны.
Портвейн
Я бы слукавила, не упомянув портвейн. Но думаю, никто из читателей не забудет его прихватить без моей заметки. Но формально портвейн делают не в Порту, а в городке Вила-Нова-ди-Гая. Сейчас он входит в район Большого Порту и это единственный город, где можно попробовать все сорта портвейна и купить тот, который вам больше всего понравится. Я являюсь любителем крепленых вин, поэтому для меня Порту стал винной меккой. Любая бутылочка по любой цене будет вас радовать, я обещаю.
