В Таганроге очень любят и чтят память своего знаменитого уроженца — Антона Павловича Чехова. Насколько я знаю из его биографии, эта любовь была взаимной. Чехов с большой нежностью и трепетом относился к своей родине, а многие жители города: его соседи, лавочники, знакомые семьи становились прототипами героев его коротких рассказов. Таганрог город небольшой, поэтому на каждом шагу можно встретить что-то связанное с Чеховым. Но разве плохо городу гордиться знаменитыми и выдающимися уроженцами? Я считаю, что нет.
Итак, скорее всего у вас, как и у меня, на Таганрог будет всего один день без ночевки. Вот на мой взгляд 5 главных «чеховских мест» Таганрога, которые можно спокойно успеть посетить за день, и время еще останется.
1. Домик Чехова
Адрес: ул. Чехова, д. 69
Семья Чеховых прожила в этом доме всего 2 года, но за это время в семье случилось пополнение — родился третий сын. Это и был Антон Павлович Чехов, сын местного купца, снимавшего флигель из-за близости к своей лавке и низкой арендной ставки. В доме расположен музей, где попытались восстановить быт и интерьеры флигеля. Мне кажется, что это место стоит посетить даже если вы никак не относитесь к Чехову. Здесь все так пропитано южным теплом, что можно считать это музеем «домика у бабушки», но так как я Чехова люблю, мне понравилось вдвойне.
2. Лавка Чеховых
Адрес: ул. Александровская, д.100
Здесь семья Чеховых пожила чуть подольше, на втором этаже, над бакалейной лавкой отца семейства. Напротив дома расположен памятник героям рассказа «Толстый и тонкий», установленный в 2011 году. Вообще почти все скульптуры по мотивам рассказов современные, им не более 15 лет. Сейчас почти все исторические места имеют статус музея, поэтому умерли. Мне больше нравится, когда место, например лавка, функционируют в своем историческом статусе, и это было бы шикарное место для бакалейного магазина.
3. Египетская пирамида
Адрес: ул. Петровская, у входа в парк им. Горького
Если увидеть название этой скульптуры в путеводителе, то никаких ассоциаций с Чеховым не возникнет. Скульптура изображает цирковой трюк с животными, и выполнена по мотивам рассказа «Каштанка», где собачку приютил клоун и она тренировалась работать в цирке. Рассказ очень печальный, но в то же время нежный. Мне нравится эта история, поэтому я не смогла пройти мимо памятника. Кстати, сразу после открытия памятник стал местным талисманом для исполнения желаний: для того, чтобы желание сбылось, его нужно сказать про себя, очень сильно захотеть, потереть нос свинки и засунуть ей в рот маленькую монетку.
4. Человек в футляре
Адрес: ул. Октябрьская, д. 9
Напротив Литературного музея установлен еще один герой рассказов Чехова — «Человек в футляре». Здесь стоит посмотреть и само здание музея, ведь оно тоже очень красивое. Сам же памятник был установлен к 150-ти летию со дня рождения А.П. Чехова, в 2010 году. В тот год в городе очень сильно постарались, подлатали штукатурку на музеях, дали гранты на скульптуры и чтения.
5. Памятник Чехову
Адрес: Красная пл.
50 годами ранее, в честь 100 летия со дня рождения писателя в городе установили памятник самому Чехову. Это не единственный памятник, но он был самый первый, сделанный еще при советской власти. Находится он в конце улицы Чехова и смотрит на нее.
Вот такую небольшую прогулку по «чеховским местам» Таганрога можно устроить себе, заодно и походите по красивым улочкам, спрячетесь от палящего солнца в парке им. Горького и пропитаетесь южным теплом, как местные абрикосы.
