И если картофель Импала оказалась очень универсальным в использовании, то Ривьера полностью оправдала свое предназначение и кроме как вареной я ее не представляю. Но обо всем по порядку.

Это ультра раннеспелый сорт картофеля, который можно копать уже через пару месяцев после посадки. Картофель крахмалистый, лежкий, очень урожайный. Подходит для выращивания в средней полосе и устойчив к популярным в этом регионе болезням. По крайней мере, так утверждает производитель семян и селекционер сорта.
Посадка в грунт
Посадка производилась 4 июня 2022 года в неглубокие лунки. На посадку пошли крупные клубни целиком. Я хотела разрезать крупные семенные картофелины на две части, но совершенно не дошли руки.
Всходы, рост и цветение
Всходы появились очень дружно, самым первыми на грядке. Уже через 5-8 дней! Растение среднерослое и раскидистое, если успевает зацвести, то цветет белыми цветами. У нас успела зацвести и вся отцвела. Цвет листьев зеленый.
Где-то к концу июля нижние листья начали желтеть и опадать, ботву начало подкашивать. В целом кустики выглядели здоровыми, но не очень радостными. Мы пришли к выводу, что ее пора копать.
Уборка урожая
Перед выкопкой была скошена ботва для удобства. На каждом кусте было от 8 до 12 картофелин среднего размера, а так же именно у этой картошки были самые крупные экземпляры (по 600г), но немного. В основном клубни среднего размера и однородной формы. Форма, кстати, моя любимая: овальная и чуть сплюснутая.
Также мне показалось, что у этого сорта меньшая устойчивость к болезням, так как часто попадались клубни с повреждениями. На вкус это не повлияло, но товарный вид испортило. Возможно ей не повезло с местом посадки, так как недалеко был обнаружен муравейник.
Вкусовые качества и блюда
Картошка просто картиночка, очень вкусная, быстро варится, при варке разваливается. Кожура трескается, клубень распадается на части. При жарке превращается в пюре. В супе тоже распадается и из-за этого бульон становится мутным. Мне понравилась только вареная, причем в мундире.
Для нас это была идеальная картошка для того, чтобы сварить ее, чуть раздавить на тарелке, добавить сливочное масло и зелень, а в удачный день жареных лисичек в сметане.
Хранение
Как и любая раннеспелая картошка, до уборки на хранение она не дожила, а была благополучно съедена летними вечерами. С 1кг высаженных семян я собрала примерно 20кг картошки.
Выводы
Конечно, немного расстроило, что она не держит форму. Если бы не это, то она бы точно была лучше Импалы, но так на еду мне кажется отличный вариант, но не более 5 кустиков на семью, чисто чтобы начать есть свою картошку как можно скорее.
