Места пребывания инопланетян в моей туристической практике встречаются не часто, и я разумеется не могла не посетить Ufo ringen. Продавец в магазине, мимо проходящая женщина, школьники, идущие со школы, каждый местный житель Эспевера ответит вам, что не знает, откуда появился этот круг на поле, поэтому все решили, что он инопланетного происхождения. Подобная легенда коммуны сильно интригует туристов.

Дорога до «места приземления НЛО» занимает около часа, если следовать указателям и не сворачивать с пути. В марте отклонение от маршрута может быть чревато грязной обувью как минимум, а вообще это может быть опасно: многие подошвы скользят на влажных камнях, поэтому легко можно подвернуть ногу или неприятно и больно упасть. Но пройтись по этой тропе определенно стоит, ведь она раскрывает красоту норвежской природы, огибая почти весь остров и показывая гранитные берега, разнообразие трав и деревьев, чистую воду в заливах и озерах.

На местах ручьев и большого количества талой воды есть специальные деревянные мостки, поэтому если вы влезли в какую-то непроходимую топь, скорее всего вы сбились с пути. Так же ориентирами могут являться глазки у деревьев и камней. Норвежцы вообще очень любят рисовать глаза на всем, что хоть как-то напоминает лицо. Если честно, мне эта их традиция очень нравится, так как помогает ориентироваться и показывает, что они очень внимательно относятся к туристам, тропинкам, деревьям и своим локальным достопримечательностям.

Хоть жители Эспевера и утверждают, что ничего не знают о происхождении круга, мне кажется, они лукавят. Тем не менее, на информационном стенде сказано, что круг появился из ниоткуда на пасхальной неделе аж в 1976 году. Многие исследователи из Университета Бергена не смогли понять, как он появилось. Ясно только, что его происхождение не имеет ботанической подоплёки, а также чтобы сделать такое кольцо механически, нужен был объект весом не менее 50 тонн, и вряд ли жители Эспевера могли его не заметить. С тех пор исследованием происхождения никто не занимается, а само кольцо является одной из главных достопримечательностей Эспевера и коммуны Бёмлу. Местные жители будут до конца отстаивать версию с НЛО, и я их прекрасно понимаю.

Площадка около кольца оборудована столиком для пикника, скамейками и информационным стендом. Поражает, как у норвежцев все продумано для выходов на природу. Если будет не лень принести сюда мангал, то для него есть специально отведенное место, чтобы не допустить возгорания травы. В марте тропинка еще не просохшая и не до конца утоптана, поэтому обувь следует выбрать хорошую, лучше всего подойдут треккинговые ботинки с не слишком низкой голенью (можно зачерпнуть грязь). Неподалеку от скамеек есть куча обуви, которая не справилась с дорогой. Некоторые прибивают ботинки прямо к дереву.

Назад можно пойти тем же путем, а можно обогнуть остров до конца. Это может быть трудно, так как некоторые тропинки просто заканчиваются причалом. Найти нужные повороты удается не с первого раза, а иногда и со второго не выходит. По пути можно покататься на качелях с видом на закат над морем. В принципе, отсутствие тропинки или моста не большая проблема, так как можно попросить вас подбросить какого-нибудь проезжающего мимо рыбака на моторке. С дорогами на острове вообще туго, поэтому многие не имеют машины или даже велосипеда. Рано или поздно кто-то пролетит мимо причала и это будет уникальная возможность посмотреть на остров еще и со стороны воды.
