После скоропостижного отплытия из Стамбула и толкучки в Мраморном море мы прибыли в Бодрум. На Бодрум выпал мой День рождения, который изначально по плану должен был быть в Измире. В Измире я хотела пойти в луна-парк, пообедать в ресторане и хорошо погулять. Но все сложилось как сложилось.
Бодрум небольшой город, при этом очень туристический. В сезон его население увеличивается в разы, а на узких улочках яблоку негде упасть. Даже в ноябре, когда пассажиры нашего круиза все одновременно вышли на прогулку, в старом городе было не протолкнуться.
Первое, что бросается в глаза, это цветовая гамма. Бодрум бело-синий. В нем абсолютно органично смотрится турецкий глаз, так как складывается ощущение, будто этот символ создали именно в Бодруме. Белые стены и тротуары идеально сочетаются с синими оконными рамами, дверьми и даже занавесками. При этом в городе еще и чувствуется присутствие моря, настоящего. Столики ресторанов расположены прямо на пляже, а некоторые фасады нависают над водой. Пирсы ласково щекочет море.
В одном из таких ресторанчиков на берегу мы решили остановиться и отведать чего-то морского. Я взяла осьминога гриль и бокал белого вина. Было вкусно, но как и любое кафе на первой линии, немного дороговато. Но День рождения на то и один раз в году, чтобы о таких мелочах не сожалеть.
Конечно, столик прямо на пляже не добавляет спокойствия молодым родителям. Дочери очень понравились камушки, особенно мокрые, поэтому она искупнулась. Хорошо, что погода в тот день была хорошая и не было холодного ветра. После этого мы решили удалиться вглубь города, чтобы она больше в воду не лезла и успела обсохнуть к вечеру.
После этого мы пошли к моему любимому Чуду Света — Мавзолею в Галикарнасе. У Бодрума богатая история. Когда то здесь была столица древней Карии, отдельной цивилизации, которая потом распалась и попала под влияние как греков, так и персов. Но достаточно долго карийцы сохраняли свою идентичность, а именно письменность и язык. При этом успешно оборонялись от набегов греков с моря и персов с восточной стороны полуострова.
Сейчас от карийцев практически ничего не осталось, и даже некогда величественный Мавзолей с XV века представляет собой груду камней. Говорят, что сейчас разрабатывают туристический маршрут по местам древних карийцев, которые как раз будет стартовать в Бодруме. Что-то по аналогии с Ликийской тропой, которая бьет все рекорды по популярности не отельного туризма в Турции. А про сам Мавзолей я подробнее написала тут.
Как и любой древний город, Галикарнас был окружен укреплениями, в которых специально оставляли ворота, чтобы в мирное время в город можно было зайти. У ворот же и разворачивались самые кровопролитные сражения. Наиболее сохранившимися древними вратами в Галикарнас являются Миндосские ворота (вход в город с Запада). Ворота, как и вся городская стена, были воздвигнуты во времена правления великого Мавсола, а при очередной попытке завоевать город, разгневанный стойкостью Галикарнаса Александр Македонский велел сровнять город с землей, вместе с воротами, оставив лишь Мавзолей. Так Галикарнас пал, Кария попала под влияние греческой цивилизации, а мы как человечество утратили множество памятников.
На самом деле основные заслуги по сохранности Ворот Миндоса стоит приписывать целой команде реставраторов, которые их постепенно восстанавливают. Ворота и стены, разумеется, не в центре города, а на окраине, так что оттуда открывается красивый вид на старую часть Бодрума. Те туристам, которым не интересны древности, пошли в Замок Святого Петра. Он находится в гавани города и на его территории расположен Музей подводной археологии. Мы же в него не пошли, хотя скорее всего стоило. Говорят, там хорошая экспозиция.
Назад мы снова прошлись по старым узким улочкам, мимо кафе и сувенирных лавочек. Попили турецкий чай. Бодрум очень красивый, но на один раз. Максимум на два. Могу лишь еще добавить, что в нем совершенно не чувствуется, что ты в Турции. Он настолько греческий, даже в цветовом плане. Может быть это потому что очень близко здесь расположен греческий остров Кос, может быть потому что местное население в основном нацелено на европейский туристов. Но было ощущение, будто мы уже в Греции, если бы не чайные стаканы в форме тюльпана.
За стенами начинается современный город с макдональдсами, сетевыми пиццериями и торговыми центрами. Мы немного прогулялись и поняли, что город ничем не отличается от других курортных городов. Поэтому потихоньку начали разворачиваться к марине. Разве что по пути назад зашли в местный парк аттракционов, где работали только машинки и на них катались турецкие подростки. Много подростков. Мы еле-еле отыскали билетера, так как кассы тоже были закрыты, чтобы понять, что вообще работает и какие цены на аттракционы.
Разумеется, по-английски никто не говорит, поэтому кое-как объяснившись жестами и пальцами мы поняли, что работает только классическая карусель. Так как я была слегка расстроена, что мой план на луна-парк Измира не сработал, я решила прокатиться на лошадке. Хотя я до последнего была уверена, что для одной меня ее даже не включат, или что она развалится вместе со мной. Цена удовольствия 20 лир. Ощущения великолепные. После этого мы с чувством выполненного долга пошли на лайнер.
